// Helping Northeastern Ontario get connected

BIRA (Broadband Internet for Remote Areas)

Traditional connectivity may not be available for many small to medium enterprises (SMEs) and will require the purchase or installation of additional or specialized equipment in order to achieve the minimum service level of 25mbps. Many SMEs are unable to utilize this technology because they lack the expertise or capital and it is preventing them from growing their business.

NEOnet will assist businesses with connectivity to high-speed technology that is available by terrestrial wireless services or upgrades to existing Ku-Band or Ka-Band to new technologies.   New technologies can provide service levels to a minimum of 25mbps download and 5mbps upload, scalable to 50mbps download and 10mbps upload via satellite or fixed wireless solutions
