$2,500 Digital Transformation Grants NOW Available

July 21st, 2022

NEOnet is thrilled to let you know that applications are now being accepted for the new round of the $2,500 Digital Main Street Digital Transformation Grants! Applications will be accepted until October 31, 2022, or until funds are fully exhausted. There are a limited number of grants available, so apply early!

NEOnet is your Digital Services Squad for Northeastern Ontario and ready to help your business transform digitally and assist in applying for the grant.

The Digital Main Street program is an exciting initiative that is available across Ontario thanks to renewed funding from Ontario’s Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, in partnership with the Toronto Association of BIAs and the Ontario BIA Association, to help brick-and-mortar small businesses improve how they use digital technologies to promote and run their businesses.

Great news! Small businesses no longer need to be part of a zoned commercial core or main street area to qualify, and previous grant recipients can re-apply (although some restrictions do apply).

The Digital Main Street program offers three resources to small businesses:

  • Digital Service Squads provide one-on-one help and technical training. Small business owners will receive targeted support to get started, grow their digital presence, and grow their business.

  • ShopHERE supports the creation of online stores via e-commerce platforms

  • Digital Transformation Grants of up to $2,500 to fund the implementation of digital strategies for small businesses.
